Validate the Operation of SkyPrint®

In order to verify that Watchdoc® SkyPrint is working properly after installation, print jobs should be submitted. To conduct this verification, it is advisable to use the account of a user already registered in the Watchdoc ®.directory.

Submitting print jobs via email

  1. From a user's mailbox, send an e-mail (possibly with attachments) to one of the e-mail addresses previously configured in the Mailboxes section;

  2. the user receives Watchdoc SkyPrint® mail informing him that his request has been transmitted to Watchdoc®.

Release print-jobs

  1. Access the device responsible for printing the jobs.

  2. Release print-jobs.

Once transmitted to Watchdoc®, print requests are processed according to the rules set up in Watchdoc®. The printing methods therefore vary according to the policy applied in the institution. They may or may not be subject to unlocking and this unlocking can be carried out:

- by badge;

- by entering the PUK code;

- by entering the system account.

Reinitialize the configuration

If for some reason you wish to remove all the settings in Watchdoc SkyPrint®, you can reset the configuration:

  1. Open the folder where the Watchdoc SkyPrint® program files are stored;

  2. Open the Watchdoc SkyPrint configuration file Mobile-Print-Config-Configuration.json and replace its contents with {};

  3. In the Setup Wizard, click the Support tab;

  4. Click the button:



  5. The welcome page displays the following message: SkyPrint is not yet configured.

You can also save the configuration file as a backup of the Watchdoc SkyPrint® settings®.
