Watchdoc SkyPrint - Troubleshooting - The connection failed

No e-mail address

Context

  1. After sending the e-mail, the user goes to the Submit your impressions interface. *

  2. They enter their PUK code in the dedicated field.

  3. Click on Connection.

è A message Connection failed is displayed.

 

Cause

Watchdoc SkyPrint sends this message if no email address is associated with the logged-in user's account.

 

Resolution

To resolve the problem

  1. in Watchdoc as administrator, go to the directory management interface ;

  2. in the Test field, enter the name of the user experiencing the error

  3. in the user information, check that the user has an email address (mail attribute of the Active Directory or mail attribute of the Guest directory).

  4. If the user does not have an email address and you have administrative rights for the directory, add their email address to the AD Mail attribute;

    N.B.: if you do not have administrative rights to the AD directory, it is also possible to create an account in the WSC Guest directory for this user.
