Message "Failed to obtain server information"

Context

When declaring a Watchdoc^® server in a domain, .NET Framework^® verify the Microsoft^® root certificates. For this operation, the print server must access http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/

authrootstl.cab.

 

For clients servers whose proxy is not specified, the http request can not succeed, generates a TimeOut, and is rejected. However, the traces analysis proves that the host arrives at the host.

 

The sent message is "Failed to obtain server information from [...] an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host":

Issue resolution

To solve the problem, deactivate the root certificates updates in the Master server policies and in each other Watchdoc server.
