Accessing the configuration interface

Log in to the Watchdoc® administration interface using an administrator's account with the required authorisation to configure access rights.

  1. From the Main menu in the administration interface,

  2. in the Management section, click on Authorisation access.

→ Watchdoc®'s Authorisation access will be displayed.

Description of the list

The list of Authorisation access shows:

  • the Special Rights declared in the Watchdoc® application: these are 3 rights corresponding to the administration levels defined by default in Watchdoci:

  • Watchdoc Operators: users with this rights can access the administration site in order to manage all or part of Watchdoc®'s functions;

  • Systems Administration: users with this rights can administrate the system in the same manner as the maintenance account, with the exception of the right to modify the Watchdoc® licence. Any person or group attributed this role must also be assigned the Watchdoc Operators rights.

  • Anonymous accounts: : users allocated this rights are called Anonymous as they are not registered in the user directory, but in the Watchdoc Guests directory (Guests database). They can manage all or part of the administration rights.

Although this function exists, we do not recommend using Anonymeousaccounts to administrate Watchdoc®.
  • Administrator Roles: these are declared in the Watchdoc® application (see Managing Roles), and are specified in the predefined list of possible administration actions that can be performed in Watchdoc®.
