Principles relating to notifications

Organisational requirements

The Watchdoc tool is able to send alert messages to its users or administrators. These messages are triggered by preset events and are sent by e-mail.

 

Configuring notifications therefore implies:

1. First configuring the service used to specify the communication channel used and its related technical settings,

2. Configuration trigger events as well as the content of the message sent.

When you configure notifications, you specify the event that triggers sending as well as the one or more message addresses.
The notified message comprises a default message that is not configurable as well as the Message section configured in the rule that triggers the notification.
