Presentation of the Quota Administration interface

Accessing the configuration interface

1. From the Main menu in the administration interface

2. in the Configuration section, click on Prices & Costs:
   

   
   

→ The Quotas interface will be displayed.

 

Description of the tools of the Quotas templates' list

The list displays all of the Quotas declared in the Watchdoc application. It also displays the Management Rules that apply to these quotas.

Every line presenting a quota or a management rule comprises the following tools::

• the Editor button is used to open the quota or management rule in a specific interface in order to review and modify the configuration;

• the Duplicate button is used to apply a quota or a management rule as a model for recreating quotas or management rules instead of reconfiguring them from scratch.

Before using the duplication tool, make sure that there is a higher number of settings to be copied than modified..

• the Delete button is used to delete a quota or management rule that is no longer used. Deletion is only effective after confirmation.

• the Create another button located beneath the list opens the interface for creating a quota or a management rule.

Information provided in the Quotas templates list

Every line displays information forming the quota:

• the Name and description of the quota;

• the Scope : the type of user to which the quota is applied: user or group of users;

• the Number: the number of users associated with the quota. The magnifying glass icon is used to access the list of associated users.

• the Total

• the Conso.

Informations provided in the list of Management Rules

Every line displays information forming the management rule:

• the Name and description of the quota;

• the Mode: quota credit counting mode:

  • either Counter mode if the costs are accumulated on the quota up to the predefined limit;

  • Debit mode if the print costs are debited from the predefined quota where set.

• Init value.: the various costs defined in the price (depending on colours and formats);

• Ceiling: upper limit that the user cannot exceed;

• Tolerance: value giving the authorised tolerance margin;

• Periodicity: frequency at which the quota can be credited.
