Watchdoc - PUK code

Principle

In Watchdoc, PUK stands for "Print User Key".

It is a numerical code that allows the user to authenticate himself on the WES (Watchdoc interfaces embedded on the printing devices) in order to unlock his prints.

Built from elements of the LDAP directory, this code can be consulted by the user from the "My account" page and by the administrator, in the directory administration interface.

For security reasons, we do not recommend PUK code authentication, but rather user account (login)/PIN code authentication.

For security reasons, we do not recommend authentication by PUK code and recommend authentication by account/PIN code.
