WES Samsung - Accounting of the fax, scans and copies impossible

Context

You may find that only the print jobs are accounted by Watchdoc, the scan jobs, the fax and the copies.

Cause

This problem might be du to the Watchdoc server configuration.

Resolution

It is necessary to check that the device has the right IP address (or hostname) for the Watchdoc server. To check:

  1. from the Watchdoc administration web interface, Main Menu, Operation section, click on Print queues;

  2. select the Print queue on which the dysfunction occurs, then click on Properties;

  3. in the Samsung XOA section, in the Other options section, the Download button allows to download the WES logs and the configuration files in order do analyse it.

  1. If you find that the configuration is not right, click on the button in the Samsung XOA section to solve the problem.

  2. From the downloaded archive (.zip), open the config.json file thanks to an text editor and, in the configuration, check that the Address field corresponds to the server address and that the ports correspond to the used ports.
