Reporting Services Configuration

Use the SQL Server® Reporting manager to configure WRS®:

If you don't find the SQL Management tool via the Windows® Run Menu, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Tools\Binn\RSConfigTool.exe

 

  1. Connect yourself to the Watchdoc® SQL server and instance:

     

  2. in the Report Server Status, you can check the instance and database names and controlle that the service is started:

     

  3. In the Service Account section, check the Use built-in account information:


     

  4. ln the Web Service URL section, le répertoire virtuel qualifie l'URL du service Web Report Server:ist, select the Statement report and click right;

     

  5. In this example, the publication address is the following:

  6. http://nomduserveur/ReportServer_WATCHDOC.

  7. By using this URL in Internet Explorer browser, you obtain the following message:

     

  8. The Report Server Database specifies the location of the database location to use and the connection account:



  9. The Report Manager URL allows to configure the reports access path:



  10. In this example, the path appears as follow:

  11. http:// ServerReportingService /Reports_INSTANCESQL/Pages/Folder.aspx

  12. Using this URL in a browser enables you to access a page like the following one:
